Are you fed up with systems and processes that don't work for you?
We specialize in designing and building business systems that work together
- Websites connected to real-time stock control, with ultra-complicated delivery and export/taxation requirements.
- Schools Admission systems that replace the hand-written paperwork, stream-line the statutory requirements, and reduce costs of inefficient MIS systems.
- Recruitment systems for Human Resource departments that handle all the job role definitions, internal sign-offs, advertising, shortlisting and interviewing. Elegant progress dashboards and fully connected to all aspects, including 3rd party job sites, sign-in apps and room-booking.
Really clever websites
Is your current website connected to any of your business processes? Do you have to export/import data from one system to another?
Often, it is simply a lack of awareness of what is possible that causes frustrating and error-prone cutting-and-pasting, we can help you to eliminate these repetitive and boring tasks, freeing up many hours of your time for more fulfilling and worthwhile activities.
We help clients connect database systems of all kinds, even those that are no longer supported by the supplier, we can help in any situation where you think “there must be a better way of doing this” – there is, and it starts with a conversation.
Here are some of the tricky issues we’ve solved for clients.
- Vinter Systems Ltd provide stock control and en-primeur/bonded wine management systems, we connected their system to our client's website so that all the stock is updated every hour. The website also has a bespoke wedding list that the happy couple can design their own wine list for the guests to purchase from.
- Kerridge Systems K8 ERP (no longer supported) - our client was terrified that the system that they have been relying on for 15 years is going obsolete. They need to retain 7 years of supplier and invoicing data for HMRC, but each invoice can take up to 35 mouse-clicks to print to a PDF - imagine having to do that for thousands of invoices, before you can move to a new ERP! We helped by automating the PDF Invoice generation, it took 8 days to run (day and night) and produced over 100,000 PDF invoices, ready to be sent to HMRC if they ask for them. In addition, the supplier and manufacturing data was exported ready to be imported to a new ERP.
- Woocommerce Donations Module - normally, WordPress and Woocommerce work really well together, but sometimes the data that is exportable is not in very friendly formats, or the columns don't line up nicely, meaning the dreaded cut-and-paste is needed to line them up prior to import to another system. We have a charity client using donations management software package ThankQ. We've written some clever MySQL and PHP to provide the client with a single-click export solution, which exports the donation data in the correct ThankQ format. The next phase will be to integrate the ThankQ API into the WordPress website, so that it all connects and updates automatically.
- DHL Shipping API - the client has some really complicated shipping requirements, and with all the EORI and VAT requirements, combined with different regions' duty requirements, the data needs to be meticulously prepared before sending to the DHL API. Single-click shipping, along with label printing, has helped our client drastically reduce the amount of time they spend preparing and shipping products.
